When can I start using my TheraNow services?
You can start using TheraNow services immediately after you sign up and activate your account. Signing up to TheraNow is absolutely free. You are required to pay only at the time of booking an appointment with your physical therapy provider. You can pay with your credit/debit card, pay pal, or your TheraNow wallet to book your appointment. Once you have a TheraNow account, you can browse therapist’s profiles, view available appointment times, and schedule an appointment with the therapist of your choice as per your convenient time slot. TheraNow is presently available in California, and very soon, we will be starting our services in New York, and then in the rest of the United States. Our Board Certified physical therapists are available in various States, and you will be assigned a physical therapist based on the State you are located in. We make sure that each doctor is fully licensed to practice therapy in your state.
How much does it cost to use TheraNow?
Getting started is totally free. You just need to sign-up for our services, and post verification, your account is activated. You need to fill in your details.You pay only as you book an appointment. The TheraNow physical therapy treatment sessions may cost you even less than your insurance co-pay. The charges are:
- Initial evaluation (session duration 30 minutes): $69.99
- Follow-up visit (session duration 15 minutes): $34.99
- Slot fees (for any extended session, for every 15 minutes): $34.99
Can TheraNow be accessed on mobile devices?
Yes, TheraNow services can be accessed on all laptops, computers, iPads, and mobile devices. You can access TheraNow through our easy-to-use and interactive web platform, and mobile Apps for android and IOS.
Who are the TheraNow Physical Therapy providers?
All the TheraNow Physical Therapists are U.S. Board Certified and are skilled to treat a wide range of medical conditions through our physical therapy programs. Also, to ensure the best in class services for our users, following each appointment, our members are required to fill out a survey to evaluate their provider and the treatment session. The results are then analysed and reviewed for quality assurance, and are used as part of our continuous improvement process. Selected therapist appointments are also reviewed by our internal medical board.
Can a provider prescribe home exercise program as a part of a TheraNow video-call appointment?
Yes, if your TheraNow physical therapy provider believes that a home exercise program is warranted, he or she can recommend so. The provider may also send TheraNow exercise videos and instructions, depending up on the need.
Can I re-visit the previous communications in past appointments with my therapist?
Yes, you can, at any time, view all the past communications and appointment details through our website and App. You can also go through all the exercise material shared with you at time of each appointment. You can also set reminders for performing the exercises prescribed by our providers, from within our website and App. All your details are just a click away.
Is TheraNow safe and private?

To use video conferencing, you need:

Yes, physical examination is very much possible over the video call through our app and website. Our state-of-the-art instructional videos are all you need to easily convey your problems to our highly skilled physical therapy providers. Also, the interactive options in the interface makes it an easy job.
What is cash based service?
A cash based service means using professional services (physical therapy in this case) without involving insurance. You pay out of your pocket; however, the charges may be much cheaper than your insurance deductible itself.
How technically sound do I need to be to be able to use your services?
How do I need to prepare myself for an upcoming appointment?
All your health history has to be duly and accurately filled well in advance, prior to the appointment. You also need to go through the instructions on using the app/website during the therapy session. You need to read through the to-do list provided to you before the appointment.
Do I need special equipment like cameras or software for this call?
What is direct access?
Are there any charges for canceling or rescheduling a planned appointment?
Yes, charges for canceling depend on the timeframe in hand before the actual appointment/session. There are however no charges if the visit is canceled 72 hours before the visit. Within 8 to 72 hours before the visit, there is a fee of $10 to cancel a scheduled visit, however, you can reschedule the visit to a different time slot as per availability. Within 8 hours before the visit, a visit cannot be canceled or rescheduled.
Does a provider need to be licensed in my state of residence to treat my condition?

No, physical therapist does not prescribe medicines. However, in case of severe pain, the patient may go for OTC pain pills and non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, depending upon the symptoms.
How can you treat physical therapy patient over phone? Are you going to send somebody to my home?
What is the difference between Tele-Health, Tele-Medicine, Tele-Rehab?
Tele-Health is a broader term that includes Tele-Medicine and Tele-Rehab. Tele-Health is healthcare made available online. Tele-Medicine is online doctor visits and appointments, and Tele-Rehab is online rehabilitation which includes physical therapy.
